Jagodensky
My great-grandfather, Boniface "Mike" Jagodensky, was born in Posen, Prussia, 1857.He came to Manitowoc, Wisconsin, in the 1870s or '80s.He married Pauline Rohde from Marinette or Newton. My grandfather was one of the youngest of several children.Three of the younger kids died at a very young age, but my grandfather, Walter, lived until he was 94; he passed away last summer. He married Jane Schroeder, also of Manitowoc, and they had 5 children. My father was the second-born, Martin "Mike" Jagodensky. If you are kin or know of the Manitowoc Jagodenskys, Schroeders, Maiers or Buehlers, I'd love to hear from you.The Jagodzinski name and its many variations are almost unique to Wisconsin if you can come by them at all.And they almost all came from Posen, which has been a town in Poland since the 1st World War.
