Hi, everyone! I am looking for my Great Great Grandfather John Jaggers who was born circa 1817. He was possibly in Ipswich, Suffolk UK in 1841 and eloped to Dublin, Ireland to marry Elizabeth Wilson (aged 17, from Ipswich) on 1st January 1842. He was a sugar refiner and died in Dublin 1849. I have no idea where John Jaggers was born, or who his parents were. I have all the subsequent history for his family. Has anyone out there lost a John Jaggers from around this time? Also, his wife later had partners John Fletcher then John Hammond, so her total 6 children all grew up as Hammond or Hammond-Fletcher rather than Jaggers. My G-Grandfather changed his name back to Jaggers in 1869.
