The Hart County Historical Society Quarterly, Oct 1973 has an article on the history of Bonnieville. In the context of the L & N Railroad, the article has: "Bonnieville was a watering station. Trains stopped to get water to make steam to propel the engines. "Pap" Jaggers was one of the early L & N pump operators." Does anyone have any idea as to who "Pap" Jaggers was? His real given name?
