My Great Grandmother was Wilhelmine Jaeckel and her Father was Daniel. They came from somewhere in Pommern, perhaps Vorpommern.

Wilhelmine was born in 1843 and arrived in the U.S. on 5/17/1873. She spent the rest of her life in Neenah, WI and was married to Carl (Charles)Hardt.

I am trying to find the town in Germany where they came from. Could there be a connection here?
