(Your #33) Marie-Élisabeth JACQUES, daughter of Pierre JACQUES & Marie-Anne BOUVIER, was born in Verchères in 1752 & died in Belœil in 1828.
Pierre JACQUES, son of Nicolas JACQUES & Catherine ALARD,
married 25 Sep 1747 at Verchères —
M-Anne BOUVIER, dau of Michel BOUVIER & Catherine CODERRE) Red Drouin p 688;
Blue Drouin same, except bride’s mother listed as Catherine DEMERY
Leboeuf p 99 same, except spelling ALLARD, & M-Anne’s mother listed as Catherine EMERY.
Obviously name spelling was a creative endeavor back then.
You can find the marriage record for Pierre & Marie-Anne below on this page under “Pierre Jacques’ wives”.
I don’t understand your listing “St-François-Xavier de Verchères, Montréal, Qc”. Verchères is a town in the Montérégie on the south shore of the Fleuve St-Laurent east of Montréal.As far as I know, it is not part of Montréal. It can be listed as Verchères, Comté-Verchères, Québec. St-François-Xavier is the church in Verchères.
Are you a descendent or relative of Marie-Laure CABANA?
