Here is what I know so far:
Herman Jacoby b.1853 or 1852 in Chicago,Il area(as listed on son’s birth certificate). Herman had one sister.
Married Mary Katherine (Riepe) Jacoby b.~1862 in Burlington, IA. He worked as a stone cutter at some point.
They had six children that I know about;
George born ??,
Albert born Dec.31 or Dec.21, 1889 in Monmouth, IL, Married Pauline Reiter, d.March 17,1958, 1 child Albert Conrad Jacoby. Albert Sr. worked as a deck finisher for Leapold Deck Co.
Benjamin b.Sept.10,1892 SS# 479-03-0159, Married Emma(?) d.July 1970, 2 children Benjamin Jr., Carson-wife Jean and they had 2 children.
Ida b.Sept.15,1895 Burlington IA, Married Harry Wells and 2nd time to Ralph Wright , 3 children with Harry, Dal(?)d.1970, Jerry, Joe B.
Anne born ?? Married Wilke(?), 2 children, Theadore and Walter
Mary born ?? ,d. 1922, Married Leslie Br???, 4 children Glenn b.May 1911, Ge Nell b.April 1913, Frances b.1915, Odetta about b.1920
If anyone has any information to add, please let me know.
