G-g-grandfather was Conrad Jacoby who immigrated on USS Saratoga from Darmstadt in 1856, accompanied by his wife Catherine, son Christoph born in 1843, daughters Catherine and Maria. Have traced Christoph to Germantown, WI in 1860 census where he enlisted in the Union Army in 1863. Christoph then married a Katherine Raeder in Elkhart Lake, WI. Any ideas about Conrad and the daughters?
