1830 Joshua Jacobs b. 1792 is in Jackson Co., FL and also a John Jacobs b. 1770-80. Can't find Shadrack's census for that year but since he states Osburn b. 1830 was born in Florida he probably was there and just missed.
In 1840 Shadrack b. 1777 is in Lauderdale Co., MS. So is Joshua Jacobs b. 1792. By 1850 Shadrack goes to Clark Co. MS and Joshua Jacobs goes to Union Co., LA. Two of Joshua's sons, Shadrick E. and Joshua J. goes to Rusk Co., TX. I suspect their cousins, Shadrack 1777 sons, George and Meshack also went there at the same time. Nan
