Here is what I have found by doing census 1820-1900. John B. Jacobs and wife are on Perry Co., MS 1820 26-45 male and female, with 2 sons under 10, 1 son 10-16 and 2 females 10-16. John B. Jacobs is in Jackson Co., FL 1830 1 male 5-10 1 male 10-15 2 females 20-30 Do not find John B. Jacobs in 1840 but do find a daughter 1840 Jefferson Co., AL Susannah Jacobs Dickenson with husband Wiley Dickenson ages 20-30 with 2 males 5-10 and 1 female under 5 1850 Jasper Co., MS Find most of the family John Jacobs 70 NC Blacksmith living with Susannah and Wiley Dickenson Son G.W. 27M with wife Eleonor 25 MS 1860 Jasper Co., MS William Jacobs 43MS Priscilla 1828 MS George 1848 MS M.E. 1854 MS William Jr. 1857 MS Louella 1859 MS J.B. Jacobs, 79, NC, Mechanic 1880 Rusk County, TX John E. Jacobs 1825 MS Father NC, Mother SC Mary E. 1838 MS Mary J, John, Sarah, Irvine, Thomas, Minnie, James, Andrew all born in Texas Susan Dickenson age 66 MS listed as John's sister. 1900 Census for Rusk County has both George W and John E. and stating they were born in MS. George W states father born in NC, John's lists SC but this is probably an error since in 1880 he shows father NC Would like to know whom John B. Jacobs of 1781 NC belongs to.
