I almost forgot -- Kinchen married Nancy Ann Simpson, born Oct. 1857, d1929, Coffee County, TN. Kinchen's siblings were: John Wesley, William J., James Frizzell, Carguile Williams, Mary. All were born in Beech Grove, Coffee Co., TN.
I doubt the family story of getting off a boat, etc. is true. You should here some of the tall tales that were handed down in my branch!
