NATHAN JACOBS died in Mount Carroll, Ill., March 27, aged 82. He was formerly from New England but spent the larger part of his manhood in Western New York. He emigrated to Illinois about 25 years ago. He embraced religion in early life and for upward of 40 years was a member of the Methodist church and a consistent Christian. For several years he was deprived of the benefit of the public means of grace on account of feeble health and defective hearing but still continued his Christian course and trust in God. As he lived a Christian life, he died a Christian death.
