Hello!!
First and foremost, I just found out today that the Jacobe's from Fabius NY are related to my Rainbow's who in turn are related to my Hitchcock family! The Hitchcock family I am refering to is the family of Jeremiah Hitchcock born about 1790 in NY and died 1854 in Smyrna, married to first Ella Kenyon, possibly daughter of Lodowick Kenyon, second to Elizabeth "Betsey" Crumb Bliven Pendleton (yes widowed twice before marrying Jeremiah).Anyway, I was doing some hunting online today and found out that Jacobe Jacobe's daughter Elizabeth married Charles Rainbow...so now to tie this to my Hitchcock's.Jeremiah had a son Sylvanus, who married Lydia Partello, they had a daughter Sarah who married Caleb Bentley, they had a daughter Rosa who married George Loveland. Rosa and George had a daughter Marain who married Duane Rainbow.I descend from Jeremiah's son Thomas.I have my family tree on ancestry.com now so please check it out!COURTNEY-Do you remember me???I did some Civil War research for you on Jacob Jacobe awhile back andthen we lost touch as I was going through a divorce and a move...QNavyWife was my screen name back in those days!I was just up at Highland Forest a few weeks ago and it was awesome!I took some pics there and talked with Al LaFrance....you should talk with him also-took pix of Rainbow grave stones in New Woodstock also...who would have ever thought back doing CW research that we would end up being related to the same family!Email me direct at [email protected] love to talk to you some more!I have info I can share and would love more...same goes to anyone else working on this family!!!
