I don't know that you will find the deed that you need, and deeds of that period do not always pinpoint an exact location. However, there is a power of attorney from Andrew Jackson of the County of Dividson and District of MErs in the Territory south of the River Ohio, apointing James Crawford of Lancaster County SC, his attorney to convey to Shared Gray 200 acres on the waters of Twelve Mile Creek, dated 28 Nov 1792. This is in Lancaster County SC Deed Book B, page 227. My ancestor was Samuel Jackson of Spartanburg County, SC. Twenty years ago I wrote and published that family history, Jackson of North Pacolet. They could have been distantly related to Andrew Jackson, as they had Foster relatives in the Waxhaws and Kelso relatives who had lived in the Waxhaws before moving to Spartanburg County. There are deeds which support these statements. Please see my webpage for publications: Brent H. Holcomb
