Joseph Jackson b 1758 PA to NC to IN to IL
Realizing that the surname Jackson is a nightmare to untangle at times I am looking for hard evidence for a researched line to and from Joseph Jackson who was born in 1758 in PA moved to NC (possible Orange Co) married Sarah Kirkman and then moved west through Indiana (Putnam and Boone Co.) dropping off a son, Joseph b 1803 in NC, and grandson, Emsley, in Boone Co. and eventually ending up in Illinois where he died in Morgan Co in 1842.
I have seen about a half dozen different possibilities presented as to who Joseph's parents were (was it yet another Joseph or was it Isaac who then connected to some combination of Thomas, Anthony or maybe another Isaac?) I am looking for someone who may have already done a researched backed tree on this particular line. Any help or leads would be appreciated.
Thanks/1
