First regard Jackson names you offer.I do not believe any of themare children of Wm R b abt l769-70 or Benjamin b l775. I search a very tight line basicaly direct ancestors and their siblings.I do recognize some of the names you offer of Jackson's in Allen Co. KY l8l0 and later. From memory only they appear to have been Jacksons who came to Allen Co. KY from Va.Since my Jacksons. b in SC married in Franklin Co. GA. were originally also from VA. I have suspected a connection in VA. but have never been able to find it.
Wm R. Jackson b abt l770 probably in SC. Married in Franklin Co. GA. first to Mary Humphriesabt. l794 they had two children Elijah b abt l795 and Franklin b abt l797.He 2nd married Nancy terrill Among their children were Stephen, Benjamin and Alvah and some daughters.Wm r. d abt l834 in Allen Co. KY. His son Alvah was appointed Administrator. (Elijah, Franklin, Stephen had moved to MO. before Wm R's death.)Benjamin Jackson b l775 was brother of Wm R. Among Benjamins's children was Woodson. (one would suspect Woodson was named for his mothers maiden name.) We have a leter from Woodsons daughter written abt l870 in Texas. She says Woodson had been a caretaker for Andrew Jacksons estate called the Hermitage This was in Tn. She further says Woodson was related to Andrew Jackson. We do know that there were three Jackson families all related in Ireland. One of the 3 came to Pa abt l700 members moved to NC abt l750 and abt l770 stopped briefly in SC. by early l770 were in north ga. Another of the three Jackson Families came to VA. apparently these were located in Henrico Co. VA. and were parents of Samuel Jackson Father of my Wm R, Benjamin and probably Samuel Jr. President Andrew Jacksons family came to SC. All three families were Quakers and definitely related and found in Ireland before l700.Most of the Jacksons became Baptists.
I don't believe I mentioned Benjamin brother of Wm. R came to Morgan Co. (joins Camden) where he died in earlyl850's
Elijah and Stephen were in Boone Co. MO. censusfor l830
moved to Camden Co by early l840's
