The children of Abigail Jackson and John B. Halpenny were Catherine 1822-1843 m. Abraham Kersey Jackson, Joseph 1823-1910 m. Mary Ellen Burrows and Sarah McKibbon, John 1825 m. Preston, William 1827-1871 m. Alice McCreary, Abigail 1829- 1853 m. John Preston, Abraham 1832-1898 m. Frances Halpenny, Isaac 1934-1892 m. Elizabeth Jane Wilson, Alice Frizelle, Rebecca Chamney and Mary Moulton, Jacob 1835 m. Murphy, Elijah 1837-1922 m. Harriett Poole, Zachariah 1840 and Edward 1831. John B. Halpenny's father Joseph Halpenny was killed in the 1798 rebellion like Abigail Jackson's father. Abigail and John came over to Ontario in 1823. Their son Abraham married his cousin Frances ( Fanny ) Halpenny, who was the sister of my great grandmother Elicia Halpenny Shipman. Abraham and Frances' children were Selina 1858 m. Albert Lowe, Alfred Franklin 1860,Martha Elizabeth, Francis Louise 1863-1907 m. James Shaw, Catherine Emily m. A.Carmichael, Abraham Herbert, Lillian 1872 m. Tom Fraser and Minerva Elicia 1867-1955.
