Hi Tricie,

I have been working on the Jacklin/Jackling family from Cambridgeshire also. This is not my family line but a line from my aunt who married a widower and his daughter married a Jacklin. His name was Benjamin Jacklin B. 1897 Enfield, Middlesex and was sent to Canada as a Home Child. I have been doing the research as Benjamin has grandchildren who are interested.

I have been working on the brother to Joseph Jacklin/Jackling,
James Jacklin 1809-1889 who married Ruth Bullen & Mary Newman Johnson. Parents: Thomas Jacklin 1777 & Sarah Lester 1779. Your information on the parents you have given as far as I can see, are correct. I have the father of Thomas Jacklin 1661 as Thomas Jacklin and no info. on his wife.

Best wishes,
Elinor Rennie
