Marilyn, I just came across your reference to Hans Jaekle and the records of Schwenningen. I am also a descendent of that family. The Jacob Jaekle of 1809 emigrated with my great grandfather John George Gula to the same town, Sand Lake, Rensselaer, NY in 1847. I would like to compare notes as I and other researchers have done a great deal with the the Schwenningen church records. Hope this reaches you. I also have copies of a current Jackle, Jackley, genealogy that has been passed around the Jaeckle families for a number of years. It's over forty pages.
