So far as I have been searching the Jackley surname on the internet I have found nothing from our family line. We are the only Jackley family in Minnesota, originating actually from France, not Germany or England. My great-granfather Xavier Jackley migrated here in the late 1800's from Alsace Lorraine, in the north east region of France. They settled in Minneapolis, MN where my grandfather Theodore Xavier Jackley was born in 1917. He married my grandmother, Charlotte Cleveland, of Norwegian descent, and had three children, Susan, Anthony Avery, and Joanne Elisse, my mother who is now a Swanson.
My aunt Susan married into the Wilkins family, and Anthony and his family, two children Lauren and Anthony Jr. and wife Nancy, and I (having been born out of marriage and keeping my mother's maiden name), are the sole carriers of the Jackley name here in Minnesota.
If anyone thinks they may have some ties to our family, or knows any more information on this line of Jackleys or would like to know more of what I have, please email me!
