Hi Greg,

My maiden name is Jackley, so I suppose that qualifies me to be in this forum; however, none of the names that you mentioned are familiar to me. I've been into Jackley genealogy for about 2 years now, but have connected with several other Jackley researchers and am forwarding this website address to them in hopes that they can help.

As I understand it, there are at least 2 completely different Jackley lines (at least we haven't been able to make a connection yet) so I'll send this address to researchers on both of them in hopes that someone may be able to help.

My original immigrant ancestor (John Jackele) came from Germany and settled first in Wisconsin, then in Iowa. He had a brother and sister who also came over, and between the 3 of them we have a pretty wide-spread family. I don't know much about the other Jackleys, but hopefully someone will contact you on that one. Good luck!

Carol
