Hans/Johann Michael Hoffmann emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1732 on the ship, John and William, with his wife Eva Catharina Jäcki. Eva Catharina (b. 4 August 1714 at Lembach) was the daughter of Johannes Jäcki/Jäggi and Catharina Draxel/Trachsel, both of Kt. Bern, Switzerland. Catharina Draxel/Trachsel of Liniehausen died 15 March 1726/7 (recorded in the Langensoultzbach, Bas-Rhin Lutheran KB). Johannes Jäcki/Jäggi married second on 9 September 1727, Anna Maria ?Drosch.
