Hi Edward, I have Benjamin Izard married unknown in July 1807 bdm. Wm. Gean. James married Hannah Honeycut May 1796 bdm. Richard Pickard. Buckner married Lucy ? 1799, bdm. James. George married Elizabeth Moore May 1813 bdm. Wm. Gean. John married Polly Pearson Nov. 1817, bdm. Richard Jones. Bird married Elizabeth Wright sept. 1804 bdm. Wm. Pritchard. James married Mary Pickard Aug 1804 bdm. Jesse. Thomas Y. married Nancy Chambers bdm. Jehu . Then John is bondsman to a Rebecca Pickard who marries a Thomas Fowler is 1864. These are all in Orange Cty. NC. And..all these Izards are found spelling as Ezell (various forms) also. I found a Jesse Essard on tax list in Prince George Cty. VA in 1790. The Jesse I am looking for may be a Moravian Missionary. He and others above show up in Tenn. and later in Mo. In Cape May Cty. NJ, I found several Izards in the Moravian Church at Maurice River in 1742.
