How nice to hear from you. I am hoping that your brother will be willing to submit to a Y dna test. Several Wilkersons have had them performed through
Family Tree DNA, and what is interesting about it is that there is a lot of variation in the results. My husband belongs to a group of other Wilkersons whose DNA has been very stable back to the mid 1700's, but we have all hit a road block and are unable to get back beyond that point. If you could get your brother to get a dna test done, it would be most helpful and would enable several Wilkersons to either be in or be out of the group that goes back to Thomas.
