I am descended from Ephraim Ivey (1751-1840) through his daughter Mary (Polly) Ivey and Etheldred Sallas/Sallis (m 9/12/1812).
In Genealogy.com's Ivey Family Forum I read several posts about Ephraim Ivey and his family history. It is hard to make sense of so many bits and pieces that I find on the internet. I wondered if anyone might have a gedcom to email to me, or book that I might purchase, or reference book to look up that would give me more DETAILS.
Also looking for copies of documents and/or pictures of Ivey family members in my direct line. One of my big projects these days is accumulating proving documents for my gr grandparents.
I have family history from Mary Ivey Sallas/Sallis(1790-1876) on down to me, including birth/death/marriage records on some. If you are interested I would be happy to share.
