There were more than two groups of "somewhat" related Ivey/Ivys in the area of Robeson Co. We have identified at least 3, with 1 being completely different than the other 2. One of them is the line of Isham Ivy JR, who after moving to MS had a son Willis born c1827. This is a rather uncommon given name, so perhaps we might be able to make a connection.
