Iveys of Robeson Co., NC (Willis Ivey b. 1823)

I am looking for information about the Ivey families of Robeson County, NC. My great-great grandparents were Richard Ivey (b. 1849, d. 1927, son of Leonard Ivey and Kiziah Stone) who married Harriet Melinda Ivey (b. 1857, d. 1930, daughter of Willis Ivey and Mary Barnes). I have always been told that these two were from two separate Ivey families and were no relation to each other, but that seems unlikely to me, and I have been trying to track down the relationship between the two, if any exists. I cannot find any information about the parents of Willis Ivey (b. 1823, d. 1897 in Robeson County) or Mary Barnes (b. 1830, d. 1900). If anyone knows anything about Willis Ivey's parentage, especially, I would appreciate any information.
