Thomas Ives is listed on the 1840 U.S. Census of Roane Co., TN, as being 82, receiving a pension for war service. Request for pension application: "Cannot find record". William D. Nelson was said to have married Martha J. "Patsy" Ives ca 1831-32. They lived in Roane Co., but cannot find record of marriage. Any information appreciated.
