Yes, Robert C. Ives was wounded in the Battle of Prairie Grove. I agree it is probably "my" Charles but not "my" Erastus. Your note about Ashley R. Ives is intriguing! Your notes say his residence was Lorane County, Ohio, and "my" Ashley grew up in Loraine County, Ohio. This is the first clue I've stumbled across in Loraine County! Do you suppose Rochester Station is in Ohio? What source do you use for the Civil War? Thanks for all the info!
