Greetings, I'm interested to try to trace the family of James William Ives. he was killed while serving with the East Surrey Regiment during World War 1 on the 26th may 1917

he is listed at the Common Wealth War Grave Site:

Name:        IVES
Initials:        J W
Nationality:        United Kingdom
Rank:        Private
Regiment/Service:        East Surrey Regiment
Unit Text:        7th Bn.
Date of Death:        26/05/1917
Service No:        3/20919
Casualty Type:        Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference:        XXV. E. 13.
Cemetery:        ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY

I have also found that his place of residence was Tottenham and he was born in Homerton, but I don't know when

My Son visited this cemetery during a school, trip to France. He was interested to find a fellow Ives in the book of remembrance, and I decided to try and trace his family.
