Leonard William Ives was born on June-15-1898 in Princess Anne County and died on November-14-1938 in Virginia Beach.
His first wife was Jessie May Drinkwater-I'm not sure about her dates. They had one daughter, Anne Augusta Ives born December-16-1918 and died March-09-1953.
His second wife, marriage date October-11-1926, was Alma Rebecca Brown (my great grandmother) born April-07-1907 and died October-19-1966. They also had one daughter (my grandma) Rose Amelia Ives born October-19-1927 and died July-30-1992.
Leonard's parents are William Ives and Annie Caton. I unfortunately do not have dates for either. I did happen to come across a marriage record for a "Willie Ives" and "Annie Caton" for 1896 in Princess Anne County, which seems like it fits the time frame, being the date is 2 years before my great grandfather was born.
The obituary didn't list any brothers, just two sisters. Miss Mildred Ives of Norfolk, Va and Mrs. Charles Norris of San Diego, Ca. I also do not have dates for either of them.
