Thanks you for your information. We have also done a detailed study and I think a bit of your information is incorrect, but it is so difficult to confirm with all the same names coming down through the families.
There was an Edmund masters Ivens who married a Mary Coleman on 26 apr 1808 and they had 7 children in total, 2 of whom were Thomas and Charlotte. In order there was Thomas Baptised 06/08/1809
William " 28/07/1811
Mary Elizabeth 16/04/1813
Edmund Masters 11/06/1815
Charlotte Coleman 28/06/1818
Matilda Melicent 18/06/1820
Emma 21/11/1824
All children were baptised in Wolfhampcote, Warwickshire, UK
Child No 4 Edmund master Ivens moved to Canada initially, then into the USA to Iowa and had at least 7/8 children, one of whom he named Edmund Masters Ivens!
Child No. 2, William also had children, one of whom he named Mary Coleman Ivens! My private e-mail is if you would like further info on each ones descendants. What is your connection? and we would love to know more about the book by John Wilson on the family. Hope you will reply to this soon.
best regards, Ceinwen
