just found richard and margaretta,s deaths
Richard ivens died in the march quarter of 1875 age 55 and margaretta turner ivens age 47 the june quarter 1875. I searched the 1881 methodically and found margaretta the daughter down as M.A.E ivens with her aunt Elizabeth who isage 49 (1832)and unmarried and a lodging house keeper at 23 imperial square, cheltenham, glos elizabeth is down as born swinbrook oxford. so she is looking after her orphan niece. walter is lodging in bristol.
I,m wondering if this is where my william parkin (g great grandfather ) richard,s brother-in-law stayed when he ran away to get married to emma hartley. they married in cheltenham.
Margaretta A e Ivens married in 1894/8 in hastings. this is where one of her cousin,s also married phyllis Parkin. also where my great grandmother Harriet lived late 1890,s have to chase up where the last boys were born.
I need to send for both the death certificates to find both causes of death.
