I have been reseasrching a Dante Zaverini from Vudulis Udine Italy. He and his wife imigrated to Alberta. There don't seem to be many Zaverinis in existance anywhere and given how many variations there are of names in this family e.g. his wife(Elvira/ Elmira/Palmyra Baldassi)and his son (Umberto/Lambert/Albert/Bert)I've come to wonder if his surname was spelled differently before he immigrated to Canada. Zamperini sounds very similar!

What do you think? I'd love to hear comments.
