Hi Karen,

I have Capra ancestors also who lived in Chicago, but they changed their last name from Crapa to Capra upon arrival to the US.

Do you share this as well or were your ancestors always Capras? My ancestor information below:

My Crapa family is from Corleone, Sicily, Italy.

I have Crapa ancestors (Anthony Antonino Crapa (1857-1945) and his son, Louis Crapa (changed to Capra upon arrival to US) (1884-1970). Both died in Chicago.

Anthony's possible father was Leo Crapa, but have no further information on him.

Is there a possible connection or do you have any information?

Thank you,
Stephanie
