Hi Peter, I went to the Ellis Island site and was able to find him as Francesco LoSacco. The spelling of the last name seems to vary - in Italy his family used the capital L S where as here the family has changed to capital L but small s.

I went to him by using the dual capital spelling. The spelling seems to be all caps on the pasenger manifest, but it worked anyway! He was born in 1902 - there is another Francesco who is a year older than him who came from Carbonara, which is very close to Triggiano.

Thanks for your help!

Mike
