I'm looking for some help please.
My Gt. Gt. Grandfather was Guiseppe or Joseph Previte, born 1798, baptised 10.06.1798, maried Mary Enderwick in Calcutta, India, 18.04 1835. He joined the naval service with one of Nelson's captains during the Napoleonic wars, travelled widely, went to India where he married and had a son, Joseph Weedon, before coming to England in 1836. He died 29.04.1843. I believe his father may have been Francesco who married a Joanna, known as Anna.
I am planning to visit San Pier Niceto, with my brother, in October this year and would very much like to meet with anyone who can provide me with more information and help with our research. We do speak a very small bit of Italien language.
