Dear Peter,

Thanks for your interest!

I have no church records in Italy. Thats my problem. The only notices about the origins of my ancestor in Italy are the church records of my great-father that says that his great-father was called Miguel (Michele) Monche and was born in Maratea, Italy and the register of the Italian Consulate in Cartagena, Murcia that says that Michele Monche was born in 1796 in Maratea,Potenza, Italy.

Some 20 years ago I tried to find, by mail, some information about church records in the parish of Maratea, without any succes.
