Aloha,
Kaua'i gal assisting family friend w/genealogy.
Descendant of Vito & Vincenza Catalano, imm.1900, Children: Fortunato, John Vito, Anna, Rose [who md. Louis Jacaloni [sp?]], Jenni.
Family history: All family came thru Ellis Island. I find several from Casamassina, Italy. Vito states sponsored by brother Angelo Catalano.
Family in 1910 and 1920 Brooklyn, Kings Co, NY censuses. Family somehow connected to Meza line.
Mahalo for any guidance. Our island NY resources and availability limited so everything done online so far.
