Dear Jon there is notghing to figure out..you go to the family history library and paty them $5.00 for each town microfilm(s) for two months and copies of records can be made there from their machines which blow up the film ansd using the compa nion book I suggested you can identify what your looking at since the records are handwritten and it may be wise to bring along a magnifying glass since the handwiritng is that wonderful turn of the century script and may need close examination.
