Dear Dana,
I had difficulty finding the town you mention on the internet. After looking at the Ellis Island record (arrival 1904), it appears that the name of the town on the record is questionable (Caposette). Since it so important to find the town of origin to further pursue research, you may need another source to confirm the name. Upon looking at other Ilaria's that emigrated, they seem to come from a town in the general area of Naples by the name of Caposele. This is in the Campania Region, Avellino Province. If the Fredo / Ilaria family comes from this town, further research may be conducted by renting microfilms from the Mormon Family History Center. They have civil records from the period 1861 - 1910 consisting of birth records, marriage records and death records for the town of Caposele. The other alternative would be to write to the town to request a Stato di Famiglia or other documents. Writing to towns in Italy is covered on the following web site: http://www.mangeruca.com But, like I said, you really need to confirm the name of the town and the spelling.
Regards,
Bette
