Anna CAVELLINI Coletti
Passed away in Santa Rosa, California, USA, February 26, 2008. Anna, also known as "Anne", was born June 23, 1914 in Pontremoli, Italy and came to New York City with her family at an early age. She was a brilliant woman who loved languages and geography, and excelled academically at Hunter Collage. Later in life she received a Masters Degree in Education. Anne taught school at the Elementary, High School and College levels over the course of her working lifetime. She and her beloved husband, John raised their family in Queens, New York. Afterwards, they retired to Florida, Sacramento and eventually Santa Rosa. Anne was best known and loved for her amazing feisty sense of humor and the love of language and travel which have passed on to her children and grandchildren. She will be missed but lingers with us in our creative lives. Beloved wife of John Joseph Coletti of Santa Rosa. Adored mother of Edward (Joyce) Coletti of Santa Rosa and Chiara Coletti of New York City. Cherished grand mother of Dori Wolf of Vancouver, WA, Todd Coletti of Windsor, Kristin Gilbert of Camas, WA., Elisabetta Coletti-Brazzini of Brooklyn, NY, John Coletti of Brooklyn, NY, Lucia Brawley of Los Angeles, and Kathleen Coletti of Oakland. Loving sister of the late Luigi Cavellini and daughter of the late Giuseppe and Clorinda Cavellini. Private services were held for the family.
