He shows up, as you know, inthe 1881 census born in 1826 and the Bennett surname is also from Toscana Italy whose roots are obviously english. So perhaps if you go to www.findmypast.com youcan pick up his roots. it is a paying website but you can trace the name free of charge. Have fun. Petertimber
