Does anyone know anything about the town of Stigliano? this is where my great grandparents came from. The surnames were Manzo and Marchese. I saw on an immigration record that they came from Stigliano, Potenza. But Ive seen on websites that Stigliano is really in the province of Matera. Did the boundries change over the years? Back in the early 1900's was Stigliano in Potenza? My family Immigrated to New York on Feb. 3, 1920 on the ship regina d'Italia. thanks
