I believe she passed away in December 1976. Her birthdate is May 22,1911 and she passed away in Randolpg Georgia. There was an older Laura Brookins born in 1896 and died in 1993 in Cayhuga Ohio as well. Go to www.ssdi.rootsweb.com for a letter under blue SS5 column and for about $27.00 they will send you a copy of her original application which MAY state the town of her origin and not just Italy and her parents names. petertimber
