Went through some of this at home yesterday and noticed there are a couple of others that I have helped in the past that intersect into this line. That might explain the Teresa Venditti associated with Matteo. I will look into that as well.
One thing in the records, named tend to repeat generation after generation so that is why you have to look carefully at the one you find. When I found Crescenzo, I continued to look for some years past that in case he had died and another child was born with that name. As there was no notation of marriage at the bottom of the page...and most were noted on others at this period of time, it meant that probably they had died young, or married outside of Ripabottoni. I believe the latter to be the case as I found no marriage record for Crescenzo.
Will continue to look during my next trip to see what else is available.
