Thank you for answering Peter. I do not speak Italian. I'd love to be able to find any info on my Grgrandparents on the other side of the pond. I don't know his full date of birth, parents, siblings, or any other family. I don't know when or where they were married - and I don't know how to find this info as far back as 1811 when he was born. I would love to be able to find certificates, and especially both sides of the family including dates info. My Grgrandmother traveled back to Italy when her husband died & brought back two children named Francesco & Maria Sturla, both 11 yrs old. & took them to Louisiana. I have never found them since the passenger records. Who were they, where did they go, who are their families? How can I find this info. Thanks again. I appreciate you writing.
Shirl
