How ironic. I've been putting our family tree together and recently started in to find out more on my grandmother, whom
I surmised came from the same town as my grandfather and namesake, Rocco Maddalena from Melfi, Italy. When he came to the U.S.
his name remained as spelled and the other
members were (Maddalina). Grandma Lucy,(Maria Lucia)was not from Melfi by Trec-
china, Pozenta, wherever that is. She was
the second wife as my grandfathers first wife died during childbirth of my dad's older
sister, Josephine. Let me know. We're all in
Rochester, N.Y. except for my one uncle who
shortened his name to Madden and moved to
N. Hollywood, Cal. years ago. My one Aunt,
Jennie Desiato is still alive and in Rochester. Her husband recently passed away.
