Hi Mary Ann

That's funny I work in Andover. Anyways, I believe my grandmother, Santa Petronio Arno, and her husband, Salvatore Arno, immigrated to the U.S. sometime around 1908-1910. They did, however, live in Lawrence and worked in the mills there. They lived around the Common St area. Do you know if your Anos came from the Messina area originally? I have a family history thing that my grandmother had made with the coat of arms for Arno as well as a brief history. It is written in Italian, however, and my knowledge of reading Italian is limited. Do you read Italian?

Gina
