Looking for any information on the Cotela and Ragonesi families from the Serrata area of Calabria c1900
Maria Rosa Cotela b.1904 married Domenico Ragonesi b. 1904.
Maria's fathers name was either Rocco or Rosco Cotela. His wife's name unknown. Maria married Domenico Ragonesi.
Maria had a sister, Marantinia who married Pasquale Ciccone.
Both sisters and their families immigrated to australia. Domenico and Pasquale arrived in 1926 and their families are assumed to have arrived around 1935. They began in victoria and ended up in alice springs, nt.
Nothing is known of the Ciccone side of the family.
Domenico Ragonesi's father was Carlo Antonio Ragonesi, believed to have died in the 1940's. His mother was Caterina Nicolaci, she is believed to have died in 1953. It is assumed that they were still residing in Serrata.
