Holocaust survivor A 7734 b 1940 Hungary/Ukraine
A Facebook page has been set up with the mission of reuniting two brothers. Wanted is Jeno (Jolli) Gottesman, child survivor A7734 from Auschwitz. Born in July 1940 in Ukraine. Father Janac (?) Gottesman. Mother Roza Berger. Roza's home town was Stroino on the Ukraine-Hungary border.
Jeno appeared on a list of surviving children at the time of liberation in 1945. He might not know his birth name or birth place. He could be living anywhere in the world. Possibly adopted by a Christian family, possibly in the USA. Both parents perished, as did a younger brother Joseph.
Whatever Jeno's name and location, his tattooed number is A7734. His brother is Menachem Bodner, living in Israel as of January 2013, still hoping to meet him. Please help by spreading the word.
Information in this post comes from the Facebook page, from online news reports, and from a CNN video about this quest. Respond via Facebook please:
